Barney Craze! (the Sequel)

like i promised, here are some of the pictures we took during our malling last weekend. it was a saturday and a payday, plus they had this midnight weekend sale. so as expected, it was almost chaos with people strolling, sale-hunting, and window-shopping that day. unlucky for us since i can't just leave ezra roaming around with all that crowd, so half the time i was carrying him. since we can't do much shopping, we decided to just dine, hang out (tambay), and chill until the mall closes. anyway, we were initially on our way to the upper floors when we came across barney and his friends. you can just imagine ezra's face when he saw that HUGE figure of barney standing right in front of him. he can't even wait for me to put him down that he resisted and tried to get off me just so he can come up to barney and get a closer look at him. so we took some pictures (yup. he posed even before i had my camera on) and i spent the next 10 minutes after that to convince him to leave ...

SuperMOM is flirting

i can just imagine my little kid yelling, "shame on you mom!" it happened last night. im not good with flirting, never was. i was on a ride home when the guy sitting next to me striked out a conversation. he kinda looked familiar, like someone from the neighborhood. then i found out that he is indeed living in the same village as i am and also happened to be a friend of a friend. So there, we ended up talking (and laughing a bit)... ...i can still remember the very first time i "think" i flirted. i was only 13 then and I didn't even remember who the guy was! but what i remember was me and and a guy ( i think he was some guy i liked back in high school) talking and laughing when another guy from our class (his name is albert! yeah, i STILL remember him!) looked at me in the eye and said, "you're so flirtatious!!!" i swear, he said it with so much feelings (jud)! What the?! i didn't even know what THAT word meant that time (im a late bloomer so ...

halloween '14: #treats, #fambam, and #thewalkingdead

So E's been watching "The Walking Dead" with me lately and no matter how much warning I give him (that the show's too gruesome for kids his age), he still seems to "enjoy" the show. So naturally, it was no surprise that he wanted to dress up as a walker for Halloween this year. And since his mom is too busy lately to scout a budget-friendly costume, DIY it is. With an old white shirt and some makeup (powder, lipstick, eyeliner), E got the get up and look he wanted. :) I know it doesn't look much and nowhere close to the ones from the show but it was a start. And he was happy. Isn't that what this whole thing is about? Anyway, my siblings' kids also suited up. We had a zombie, a princess, a superhero, a cute version of mickey mouse, a korean schoolgirl, a pirate-ish, and of course a cute little devil slash red riding hood. So yeah, we had the whole gang. ;) Btw, the little devil/red riding hood was E's first halloween costume when...
